what missionaries say about the experience
A short-term team should serve a long-term, sustainable goal. We want to see individuals, communities, cities, and nations transformed, so every outreach gets measured through the lens of measurable transformation.
Let’s Do Missions specializes in coordinating diverse teams, including churches, youth groups, college groups, business teams, or any other group, regardless of size. We manage transportation, lodging, meals, and ministry schedules. As a leader, your focus will be on fundraising and team cohesion.
At Let’s Do Missions, our commitment is to offer the best to the communities we serve. To achieve this, our missionaries require adequate rest and nourishment. Conditions vary by location, with accommodations becoming less luxurious as you move away from major cities.
ACCOMMODATIONS: We inspect all hotels beforehand, ensuring they provide air conditioning and high-speed internet.
FOOD: Restaurants are carefully selected and endorsed by our staff. We aim to offer familiar American dining options whenever possible, alongside opportunities to savor local cuisine.
Effective leadership and organization are essential for successful trips. Our leaders, or ‘project directors,’ handle everything from coordinating ministry sites and transportation to communication with in-country contacts. Their priority is to support you (the team leader) so you can care for your team. Our trips cultivate a leadership culture that empowers both new and student leaders.
Let’s Do Missions equips you with all the tools needed for effective training sessions. You set the schedule; we handle the rest.
No, but you’ll be surprised by how much you can communicate without a shared language. Spanish skills are helpful, and we provide translators when needed.
Peruvian cuisine is highly regarded worldwide. Expect satisfying meals in Piura. Inform us about dietary restrictions or allergies before your arrival for better accommodations.
Each trip is different and even two trips to the same country will include different projects and ministry opportunities. Our mission trips usually range from ministry to children to construction projects, to teaching English, to leading Bible studies. All of the trips are hands-on and require every team member to be involved – no spectators!
